COLOMBO, Sri Lanka: One of the main suspects behind the Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka who was arrested by Interpol has been extradited to the country.

Hayathu Mohamed Ahmed Milhan, a 29-year-old Sri Lankan national, was arrested in the Middle East and has been extradited to Sri Lanka. The man is accused of being one of the ringleaders behind the Easter Sunday bomb attacks that killed more than 250 people in Sri Lanka on April 21.
Interpol said Milhan and four other men connected to the bombings were en route from Saudi Arabia to the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo.
Meanwhile, Indian anti-terrorism investigators claimed to have arrested a man with alleged links to the suicide bomber who planned Sri Lanka’s Easter Sunday attacks.
Investigators said Mohammad Azharuddin, 32, was friends on Facebook with Zahran Hashim, the alleged ringleader of the attacks.
The arrest followed raids on a suspected IS militant cell in the southern Indian city of Coimbatore.
The Indian authorities also seized electronic devices and arrested seven men during raid.
One accused Md. Azharuddin r/o Coimbatore arrested by NIA in connection with ISIS in Tamilnadu.
