KARACHI: Blockchain Association of Pakistan has said that knowledge economy can boost economic activity and bring in more foreign direct investment to the country to support economic growth.
This was stated by office bearers of Blockchain Association of Pakistan Chairman Jamal Azhar, Board of Directors Syed Salman Ali, Rashid Alam, Ahmed Hamdhan, Kamran Ghouri and others during a press conference held at Sultan – The Royal Eatery. The presser was followed by dinner.
The Association launched exciting initiatives centered around Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence.
“We are developing skills-based training workshops and seminars to enlighten the private and public sector for using emerging technologies. We intend to start with AI and Blockchain and later focus on more,” Rashid Alam and Syed Salman Ali announced.
Syed Salman Ali added that a knowledge-based economy can boost economic activities and bring in more FDI to serve growth.
The Association has joined hands with Ministry of Information Technology for promotion of Blockchain and AI education in Pakistan.
“We have great experts in the areas of Blockchain and AI. We have alliances with technology partners to support large and complex initiatives for the public sector or private projects. We also have investment partners to participate in key projects,” Ahmed Hamdhan added. The Association informed that Global Blockchain Academy was going to launch courses in association with Blockchain Association of Pakistan.
The courses that Global Blockchain Academy is going to launch, and its training initiative is supported by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, Government of Pakistan, for classroom study at Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET).
The online version of this training is based on globally accepted content and is regulated by Blockchain Association of Pakistan. The course content has been prepared by Ahmed Hamdhan, member Board of Directors, Chief Knowledge Coach at Global Blockchain Academy.
