ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter-Services Public Relation Major General Asif Ghafoor has rejected the reports that the Army is inviting University professors to GHQ to deliver lecturers on presidential form of government and 18th constitutional amendment.
Rumours abound in the federal capital amid the ongoing debate in social and some section of mainstream media about the presidential system that military establishment and the incumbent government were behind the renewed debate.

Amid such rumours, noted defence analyst and writer Ayesha Siddiqa tweeted on Friday that the GHQ was inviting university lecturers for briefing on18th amendment and presidential form of government.
She tweeted: “Interesting that the GHQ is inviting university lecturers to brief on 18th amendment and presidential form of government. Apparent which house things are cooking.”

Within hours, DG ISRP Major General Asif Ghafoor took to Twitter to respond to Ayesha Siddiqa. In his tweet Asif Ghafoor termed the reports as lies.
