ISLAMABAD: As the Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on a two-day visit on February 16, 2019, around 750 room of top eight hotels in Islamabad have been booked for the royal guests.
The Pakistani authorities have finalized preparations to welcome Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman on his maiden official visit to Pakistan.
According to reports, on Wednesday two C-130 aircraft carrying eight containers full of Prince Mohammad’s personal belongings including latest seven BMW 7 Series cars and a Toyota Land Cruiser V8 SUV arrived at the Nur Khan airbase.
The personal belongings of the prince were shifted to the Prime Minister’s House where he will be staying during his visit.
Some 130 royal guards of the Prince are also accompanying him in the visit besides a 40-member Saudi delegation.
Meanwhile, the process of booking 750 hotel rooms in eight Islamabad hotels for the royal guests’ accommodation has been completed. Insiders said the administration of all hotels had been directed to cancel all advance bookings to ensure comfortable stay of the visiting dignitaries.
As per reports all the hotel where rooms have been booked for the royal guests will be sealed for security clearance a day ahead of the February 16 visit.
As part of the measures, more than 1,000 security checkpoints have been established and heavy vehicles banned from plying on important roads in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
