Pakistan to take on South Africa in second ODI at Durban today

DURBAN: Pakistan is going to take on South Africa in the second one-day international (ODI) at Kingsmead in Durban today.

The men in green are looking to continue their winning streak. Pakistan thrashed the Proteas in the first ODI on the back of Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez’s crucial fifties by five wickets.

Pakistan is leading the 5-match series by 1-0.

Pakistan are expected to maintain the victorious quad of first ODI. Except for Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan, no other bowler made any impact on the Proteas batters throughout the innings.

The hosts will be without the services of experienced fast bowler Dale Steyn and wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock, who have been rested from the second ODI as well.

Pakistan enjoy a good record at Kingsmead, having won five of their eight ODIs at the venue. They beat South Africa here in their last two tours in 2013 and 2007.

The match between South Africa and Pakistan will start at 4pm Pakistan Standard Time.
