ISLAMABAD: As Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority awarded the Landing Right Permission for the broadcast of TEN Sports 2, the channel is set to be launched in the country soon.
This is a good news for the country’s football fans as the channel extensively covers the sport especially its leagues across the world.
On Monday, the Pemra awarded Landing Right Permission to M/s Tower Sports (Pvt) Ltd, Karachi to broadcast TEN Sports 2 in Pakistan.
The Pemra Board took the decision at a meeting held at its headquarters in Islamabad. The meeting was presided over by Chairman Pemra Muhammad Saleem Baig.
The Landing Right Permission to Tower Sports (Pvt) Ltd has been given under the sports category.

The channel broadcasts football matches of renowned leagues from around the world. These include EFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, I-League, Federation Cup, Coppa Italia, French League, Capital One Cup, Sky Bet Championship, German Cup, Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Major League Soccer all year round.
Besides this, the channel also offers commentaries of well-known and experienced Football panelists, who share their insights on the upcoming live matches, football updates on the channel on its show “Countdown 2 kick off”.
