DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has decided to release salaries and pensions earlier this month due to the arrival of holy month Ramadan 2017.
All the current government employees, retired employees, retired personnel and beneficiaries will get their salary on May 25, a day before the starting of the holy month.
The gesture will enable employees, retirees and recipients of social assistance to meet the expenditure needs of their families for the holy month, KhaleejTimes reported.
The decision has been taken in line with the directives of The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and has been ordered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The gesture will enable employees, retirees and recipients of social assistance to meet the expenditure needs of their families for the holy month.
