Sarfraz to be next Test captain for Pakistan?

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan said Saturday that after the retirement of Misbah-ul-Haq, Sarfaraz Ahmed can be next Test captain.

During his brief presser, Khan said that PCB is finding a new captain for Pakistan that is why Younis Khan was not under consideration.

He said, PCB respects Younis a lot and he’ll be honored on his retirement.
PCB Chairman further said that when the board announces Test captain, it can Sarfraz Ahmed too, because he is already vice-captain of Pakistan.

Shaharyar also mentioned that head coach Mickey Arthur has requested board and management to send Rahat Ali to West Indies for Tests. However, the final decision will be of the selection committee, he said.
