DUBAI: After a successful completion of HBL PSL 2017 and Big Bash League, cricket lovers are now ready to get enthralled by a short but, lucrative T20 tournament, Emirates T20 Cup 2017 starting from March 23 in Dubai.
The knockout-based tournament will be played on March 23 and 24 at Dubai Sports City. Six teams from the T20 leagues all over the world will take part in the league, including Champion of PSL 2017, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Lancashire Lightning, Durham Jets, MCC XI and Birmingham Bears.
Some of the biggest names in T20 cricket, including Darren Sammy, Jonathon Trott, Shahid Afridi, Jimmy Anderson, Brendon McCullum and Ian Bell are expected to play the tournament.
Previous winners of the competition include Emirates XI, Nottingham, Sussex and Yorkshire County Cricket Clubs.
Former stars of the tournament include Jimmy Anderson, Ian Bell, Alastair Cook, Adam Gilchrist, Freddie Flintoff, Steve Harmison, Muttiah Muralitharan, Matt Prior, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh to name but a few!
