SHARJAH – Courtesy to brilliant bowling by Islamabad United bowlers, Karachi Kings could only manage to get 126/10 on the scoreboard in the first eliminator (2nd playoff) of the HBL PSL 2017 at the Sharjah Cricket Ground, Sharjah.
Earlier, Islamabad skipper Misbah won the toss and opted to bowl first. The bowlers started off brilliantly, bowling a record 13 consecutive dot balls in the start of the innings. Babar Azam (25) then score briskly along with Chirs Gayle (17) to take the score to 42 runs inside 6 overs.
The duo got out back to back which dropped the scoring rate significantly.
