First Test: Pakistan 70/2 at Day 3 stumps

BRISBANE: Chasing a might total of 489 runs set by Australia, Pakistan ended the day with 70 runs on the board, losing two early wickets on Day 3 in the fourth innings of theĀ first Test at The Gabba, Brisbane.

Opener Azhar Ali was not out on 41, along with Younis Khan, who is yet to open his account even after playing 19 balls.

Sami Aslam, who played a gritty knock in the first innings, returned early after scoring 15 runs. Babar Azam was the last wicket to fall in the day, he scored 14 runs.

Pakistan are stillĀ 420 runs behind with 8 wickets remaining.
