KARACHI: Junaid Jamshed buried in Dar ul Uloom Korangi, Karachi after a week of his death in a PIA plane crash flight PK-661. He was buried in the place according to Jumnaid’s will.
His brother Humayoon Jamshed, and three sons put him into the grave will eyes filled with tears. Molana Tariq Jameel put the slab over the grave.
The cemetery has only few graves which would be around 35.
Only renowned and acquainted personalities were allowed to attend the burial for security measures.
His coffin was delivered to family wrapped in Pakistan’s National flag and Pakistan Air Forces personnel presented flower bouquet.
Outsite the graveyard there was a huge crowd to say their last prayer to Junaid.
Junaid’s wife Neha, who also died in the plane crash her funeral prayer also offered today in Lahore and she was buried in her ancestors’ graveyard.
Junaid’s funeral prayer was led by renowned Islamic scholar Molana Tariq Jameel. The other people who attended the burial were Mufti Taqi Usmani, MuftI Naqi Usmani and the student of Dar ul Uloom.
