COAS attends PIA pilot’s funeral

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Chief of Army Staff  (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa attended the funeral prayer of Ali Akram,  the pilot of crashed flight PK-661.

The funeral prayer was performed in Army Ground, Rawalpindi, on Thursday.

The prayers were performed in a strict security. Later General Qamar Bajva expressed his sympathy with family of deceased.

While in Karachi, the Islamic scholar and former singer Junaid Jamshaid’s funeral prayers performed, who also died in the same plane crash. Pakistan’s renowned Islamic scholar, Molana Tariq Jameel led the prayers where thousand of people prayed their last recites for him with eyes full of tears.

Junaid Jamshaid led to rest in Darul  Uloom Korangi’s cemetery in Karachi, according to his will.
