Junaid Jamshed’s funeral performed at Noor Khan Airbase

ISLAMABAD: Former singer-turned Islamic preacher Junaid Jamshed’s funeral prayers was offered at Noor Khan Airbase, Chaklala on Wednesday.

Air Chief Sohail Aman and top officers of the Pakistan Air Force attended the funeral prayers.

A guard of honour was also presented to the late scholar who died in a plane crash on September 5.

According to our Samaa, Junaid Jamshed’s father had also served in the PAF as air commodore.

Junaid Jamshed was also fond of joining the PAF, but he missed the opportunity for his week eyesight.

The Islamic preacher also sang an anthem for the air force.

After the funeral, the coffin of Junaid Jamshed was sent to Karachi via C-130.

Humayun Jamshed, the brother of Junaid Jamshed, announced that funeral prayers would be offered at Moin Khan Cricket Academy in Karachi at 1 pm.

He will be buried to Darul Aloom Karachi, Korangi according to his wish.
