LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Tuesday sent Rana Muzammil, allegedly involved in the killing of stage actress Kismat Baig, to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
Harbanspura police produced the accused before Judicial Magistrate Shaukat Ranjha on expiry of his previous four-day physical remand.
The police submitted that it had completed interrogation of the defendant and no further physical remand was required.
At this, the court sent the accused to jail on 14 days of judicial custody.
Kismat Baig was shot dead last month by unidentified persons while she was on her way back home. – APP
