KARACHI: Junaid Jamshed’s funeral prayers (Janaza prayer) date has been changed once again, Thenewstribe.com learnt from local media.
Junaid’s body was identified through his facial X-ray. His funeral prayers will be offered in Karachi on Thursday, reported Samaa News.
He said that Junaid’s family had been informed about it and arrangements are underway to hand over the coffin to the household of the deceased.
Meanwhile, Junaid Jamshed’s brother Humayun Jamshed confined that the body has been identified; however, the DNA report is being awaited.
He said that the funeral would be held at Moin Khan Academy in Karachi on Thursday. Junaid Jamshed’s grave has been prepared at Jamia Darul-Uloom Karachi (Korangi).
Junaid Jamshed and his wife were among 47 passengers and crew members who died after their flight PK661 crashed near Havelian in Abbottabad on December 7, 2016.
The body of his wife, Neha, was received by her mother at PIMS after identification. Her funeral will be offered in Lahore.
