Junaid Jamshed’s dead body has been identified

ISLAMABAD: Famous Islamic scholar and social activist Junaid Jamshed’s dead body has been identified, TheNewsTribe.cotm reported.

The body has been kept  in PIMS morgue and will be handed over to his family tomorrow.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, while speaking to media, told that the body was identified with the help of Xray report Junaid’s face and from the teeth history.

Earlier, his wife Nayha Javed’s dead body was delivered to the family at PIMS Hospital on Monday.

The body of Neha Javed was received by her mother Dr Yasmeen from the hospital’s morgue.

It should be mentioned here that a PIA plane was en route from Chitral to Islamabad when it crashed in Havelian on Wednesday leaving all 48 people including Junaid Jamshed and his wife dead.

Neha was identified with the help of her teeth’s scan. Junaid’s body is expected to be identified today.

Earlier, the elder brother, Humayon Jamshed announced the date and place of Junaid Jamshed’s funeral.

Humayon announced Sunday that, Janaza (funeral) prayer of late Junaid Jamshed would be performed at National Stadium, Karachi, on Wednesday.

Junaid Jamshed’s grave has been prepared at Jamia Darul-Uloom Karachi (Korangi), reported Samaa News.
