‘India will break Pakistan into 10 pieces,’ claims Indian Leader

NEW DELHI: Indian home minister Rajnath Sing has said that India would divide Pakistan into ’10 pieces’ if it fails to stop cross-border terrorism.

He was addressing a political gathering in the troubled region of Kashmir.

Rajnath, in his tirade, went on to allege that Pakistan of destabilising India.

“A neighbouring country time and again encourages terrorism and terrorist activities to harm India,” The Times of India quoted Rajnath Singh as telling the gathering.

“Pakistan has been divided into two countries. If it does not stop cross-border terrorism, it will soon be in 10 pieces,” he ranted.

Accepting the geographical truth that India could not change its neighbours, Rajnath said that India would not bow down its head before anyone.

Meanwhile, interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan gave a scathing rejoined to Rajnath saying that how could India talk about extremism when it was carrying out state terrorism itself.

Tensions between two nuclear-armed neighbours frayed in the aftermath of Uri attack on a check post in Kashmir that left 18 people dead. India pointed fingers at Pakistan for the assault. However, Pakistan refuted the allegations.

What added fuel to the fire was Indian aggression on Line of Control (LoC) and claims of conducting a surgical strike inside Pakistan.
