ISLAMABAD: Nine more dead bodies of the victims of PIA plane crash have been identified.
National Disaster Management Authority (NDA) released the identities of deceased namely: Amna Ahmed, Maahrukh Ahmed, Haji Nawaz, Muhammad Takbeer Khan, DC Chitral Osama Ahmed Warraich, Sami and Air Hostesses Asma Adil and Sadaf.
The Safety Investigation Board has formally kicked off its probe into Wednesday’s plane crash, with authorities expecting the outcome of the inquiry not before one-and-a-half month.
On Wednesday, at least 47 people were killed when a PIA flight smashed into a hillside in Abbottabad district after one of its two turboprop engines failed while flying from Chitral to Islamabad.
