ISLAMABAD: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$23,344.4 million as on December 2, 2016, according to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
According to the statement issued by the central bank, foreign reserves held by the SBP stood at US$ 18,353.2 million while the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were recorded at US$ 4,991.2 million.
During the week ending December 2, 2016, country’s total reserves decreased by US$270 million to US$23,344.4 million on account of external debt servicing, the statement added. – APP
