LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Labour Wing Punjab President Rana Salim Niaz and a delegation of Social Media Group Lahore called on Pakistan Muslim League-Q senior leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at his residence on Saturday and announced joining his party, PML-Q.
Dr Azeemuddin Lakhvi, Mian Munir, Syed Shadaab H Jaffery Advocate, Mian Tariq and Mian Abdul Sattar were also present.
Welcoming them in the PML-Q fold, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that his government in Punjab launched Rescue 1122 like successful
projects, and it would launch further such public welfare programmes if elected to power again.
He said that there was need for presenting these welfare projects in a better manner on the social media because this is an era of social media.
He said that the PML-Q ggovernmentalso did a lot of work on jail reforms, and improved food and residential facilities for the prisoners. – APP
