Pakistani singer Atif Aslam,30, got married to his educationist girlfriend of seven years, Sarah Bharwana, in Lahore on March 29. News spread after pictures of the couple’s mehendi ceremony made their way online, and microblogging site Twitter was immediately flooded with heartbreak tweets from Aslam’s fans.
