Did Hussain Nawaz meet new Army Chief? Why?

ISLAMABAD: Word was that the elder son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Hussain Nawaz held a meeting with newly appointed Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa and the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) on Tuesday in Islamabad.

Some news channel began this propaganda hours after the today’s hearing on Panamagate Case.

But, a spokesman of Pakistan army has contradicted a news item which appeared in a section of media and also on social media that Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat and Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, met Hussain Nawaz.

The news is absolutely baseless and there is no truth in it, he said.

The clarification came after some reports alleged that the two generals had met Hussan Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
