Bad News: Corps Commander killed in helicopter crash

KABUL: A Corps Commander from Afghan National Army is reportedly killed along with five others after their helicopter crashed in northwest province of Badghis on Tuesday.

General Mohiyuddin of 207th Corps was among 11 people onboard the chopper which crashed in eastern part of Badghis province.

The Afghanistan Defence Ministry has confirmed the death of the Corps Commander who was seriously injured in the crash and later on succumbed to his wounds in a hospital.
