LAHORE: Stage actress Kismat Baig, who was critically injured on Thursday in a gun attack in Lahore, succumbed to her wounds at a hospital.
The stage dancer was travelling by her car along with the gunman when unknown armed men riding motorbikes fired shots on them in Harbanspura area this morning, NewsMediaLive reported.
Emotional scenes were witnessed outside Services Hospital after the death of stage actress Qismat Baig after a gun attack in Lahore.

Police said the dancer received three bullets while her gunman, Ali Butt, received one in foot. Both were rushed to hospital in critical condition.
After collecting evidences from the crime scene, police recorded statement of Ali Butt and family member of Qismat Baig, who said it was an attempt on the dancer’s life.
Police were also investigating whether it was an attempt of robbery. The FIR of the incident was not filed till filing of this report. –
