ISLAMABAD: Daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz has may just have hinted at the next Army chief via a tweet in a disguise that got everyone talking.
As political observers and analysts are trying to dig out the exact name, who would lead Pakistan army, Maryam Nawaz tweeted pictures of Lieutenant General Javed Iqbal Ramday and Lieutenant General Zubair Hayat greeting Premier at the farewell ceremony of Gen Raheel Sharif on Thursday.

Though, Maryam did not disclose the reason of selecting just two officials out of four, yet rumours are rife that PM’s daughter gave a clue of who would be heading Pakistan Army in capacity of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC).
It should be maintained here that PM Nawaz has to pick Chief of Army Staff from a group of four including Lieutenant General Javed Iqbal Ramday, Lieutenant General Zubair Hayat, Lt. Gen. Ishfaq Nadeem, Lt. Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa.
In the given scenario, Maryam posting pictures of selected two generals out of four could be the answer of the million dollar question as to who would be the successor of General Raheel who would retire on Tuesday, November 29 along with the next Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
This is the fifth selection that Premier Nawaz Sharif would make during his tenure as Prime Minister. He has also emerged as the only Prime Minister to have appointed maximum number of military heads.
Both General Raheel Sharif (COAS) and Gen Rashad Mahmood (CJCS) were appointed on the respective posts on November 28, 2014.
Along with Gen Raheel, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Rashad Mahmood is also completing his term on Tuesday and so PM has to select his successor as well.
