ISLAMABAD: Heavy jolts of earthquake were felt in Islamabad and the suburban areas of the federal capital on Thursday evening, Thenewstribe.com reported.
According to the initial reports from TheNewsTribe’s correspondents “Islamabad, Peshawar, Lower Dir, Chitral, and tribal belt among the areas where earthquake shocks have been reported”.
According to the seismic monitoring centers reports, epicenter of the quake is Hindu Kush region with the depth of 202 km.
Many buildings in Islamabad and Peshawar evacuated after the shocks.
No loss or casualty has been reported yet in any area of the country.
