PTI removes Naeem ul Haq as party’s spokesman

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  on Wednesday removed Naeem ul Haq as the party’s spokesman, reported.

Senior analyst Fawad Chaudhary has been appointed on his place, Samaa reported.

The decision comes a day after Haq’s statement regarding Benazir Bhutto’s will drew heavy criticism and a huge embarrassment to PTI.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari strongly reacted to Naeem ul Haq’s statement in which he drew parallel between Qatari prince’s letter to Supreme Court with Benazir Bhutto’s will.

Bilawal said that PML-N and PTI are still attacking Benazir a decade after her martyrdom. He urged PPP leaders to remain calm, saying let the opponents do politics.

Haq, however, denied issued any statement, saying it was a conspiracy against him.

“I have not issued any statement equating Qatari letter with the will of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. PPP reaction in this regard is puzzling,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
