PHF awaits govt approval for Junior Hockey World Cup

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has geared up preparations to participate in junior Hockey World Cup to be held in India while the team is yet to get green signal from the government.

Sources told that the federation has submitted important documents for visa in Indian High Commission whereas players’ passports would also be presented to the commission for further process.

On the other hand, the boys have also been directed to report head coach Tahir Zaman at Johar Hockey Stadium in Lahore today.

The possible players for junior Hockey World Cup are Ali Raza, Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Hafiz Ali Umair, Atif Mushtaq, Hassan Anwar, Mubashar Ali, Zahid Ullah, Abu Bakr Mahmood, Faizan, Junaid Kamal, M Usman, Tazeem-ul-Hassan, M Adnan, Immad Shakeel, Shaan Irshad, Azfar Yaqoob, M Dilbar, M Attiq Arshad, Bilal Qadar, Mohsin Sabir, Rana Sohail, Sami Ullah, M Rizwan, M Naveed, Fahad Ullah Khan and Umar Hamidi.
