ISLAMABAD: Pakistan National Council of the Art, Ministry of Information, and Broadcasting & National heritage to organize an event to celebrate Iqbal Day at PNCA auditorium on November 9, DailyTimes reported.
Contrary to previous years, federal government has also announced to resume the holiday on Iqbal day, November 9.
Allama Iqbal, a great poet-philosopher and active political leader, was born at Sialkot in 1877. Iqbal was the legend who gave us a vision which later on became the mission of Quaid-e-Azam.
To mark birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Puppet show, speeches, national songs and Tableau will be presented. Children will remember poet of the nation by presenting his poetry and tableau, speeches.
Renowned singers Muhammad Ali, Babar Niazi, Javed Niazi & Gulshan Jehan will present Iqbal’s poetry.
