ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Miyaan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has appointed state minister Maryam Aurangzeb as the for Information and Broadcasting.
The formal notification for Maryam Aurangzeb appointment will be issued shortly, officials said on Monday, DailyPakistan reported.
Daughter of PML-N Senator Mushahidullah Khan, Mayram Aurangzeb has been a member of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz since 2013.
She was appointed on the post days after Senator Perviaz Rashid was forcefully taken resignation from for letting a leaked story on top secret meeting published.
