Bilawal condemns police baton charge on PTI workers

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari strongly condemned the brutal police action on political workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Islamabad.

A press statement from Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said federal government has shot itself in the foot by launching a crackdown on political workers.

Senior PPP leaders Qamar Zaman Kaira and Senator Saeed Ghani have convened a press conference to condemn the police action, reports Samaa.

Dozens of PTI workers were rounded up by Islamabad police as they gathered to hold “Youth Convention” in the capital city ahead of party’s November 2 protest. SAMAA
