Pakistan vs West Indies second Test Day 2 Wickets highlights

ABU DHABI: Two back to back wickets in last two overs of the day unsettle West indies at stumps as visitors slipped to 106/4 at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

Jermaine Blackwood and nightwatchman Devendra Bishoo were yet to get off the mark, with West Indies still trailing Pakistan’s first innings total of 452 by 346 runs with six wickets in hand.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan were bowled out at 452 at the start of second session of the second day.

Besides Younis Khan’s 17, Misbah (96), Asad Shafiq(68) and Sarfraz (56) were highlights of their innings.

West Indies started their innings with DM Bravo being promoted to open the innings along with LR Johnson.

The pair started the innings confidently but Rahat Ali made the dent when he removed Johnson for 12 on the total of 27.

KG Brathwaite joined the crease with Bravo and the pair defended and driven Pakistan bowlers well.

Bravo was the second wicket to fall for Windies, he was struck LBW by Yasir on his 43.

In came Samuels and played his shots freely.

His weakness to play way from the body was noted by the opponent side and skipper Misbah introduced Rahat back into the attack with a plan to get him out side the off.

The plan worked, and Samuels was caught in the second slip off Rahat Ali’s outswinging delivery.

He went for 30 on the last ball of second last over, and then after two balls, KG Brathwaite threw away his wicket tying to steal an impossible single. he was run on on 21, leaving West Indies 106/4 at the stumps Day 2.
