Pakistan to host first PACES championship

Rawalpindi: Pakistan will host the first-ever International Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System (PACES) championship on October 18.

Army teams of five countries- Sri Lanka, China, Jordan, Malaysia and Maldives have already arrived here to participate in the event, The Nations reported.

Pakistan Army is hosting the championship where teams of 16 countries are participating in the event.

The competition will continue till 22 October. The events include 3.2 kilometer run, pull ups, sit ups, pushups, and combat efficiency test followed by closing and prize distribution ceremony.

This competition invokes enthusiasm, passion, the spark to win and to excel beyond expectations.
