Why Imran recommended ‘minus one’ for PPP?

ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, in a shocking turn of facts, recommended senior members of Pakistan People’s Party to detach with Asif Ali Zardari in a press conference on Thursday.

Sources privy to the party reported the PTI leader was annoyed over Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s criticism on him earlier this week.

Bilawal had said that Imran’s ‘solo flight’ created issues for other political parties. The statement had come in after PPP joined hands with the government over Kashmir dispute against PTI’s refusal to be a part of the joint session of the parliament called in this regard, Dunya News reported.

Sources reported that Khan had decided during the meeting in the evening today that he would target Asif Ali Zardari, former president and PPP in his press conference.

Going by his plan, Khan advised Pakistan People’s Party to announce detachment with Asif Ali Zardari “before it was too late.”

He also said that Bilawal shook hands with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after dubbing him under “traitor” earlier.

The revelation explains why Imran Khan reiterated during the press conference that he did not want to become the premier of the country but put the nation on the way to prosperity.
