Pakistan won the first game quite convincingly by 9 wickets and 34 balls to spare. This was Pakistan’s second consecutive 9 wicket victory.
Hero of the show was Imad Wasim, who proved just too good for West Indies. Bowling consecutively from good to shot length with variety of pace, Imad uprooted five wickets for just 14 runs in his four-over quot.
Bravo showed some guts and fought gallantly till the last over before being out on 55. He along with tail-end partner Jerome Taylor, brought West Indies to respectable total of 115 on a slow and turning pitch.
But, young Babar Azam took away all their hopes as his unbeaten 37-ball 55, took Pakistan easily across the victory line with 34 balls and 9 wickets in hand.
