First T20: West Indies fight hard to get 115 on board

DUBAI: After being destroyed by Imad Wasim’s brilliant spell of bowling, DJ Bravo brings in his class and experience to take West Indies to 115/10 in the first T20 of the three-match series at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and opted to field first straightaway, expecting the due-factor to make bowling difficult in the second innings.

Imad Wasim with his destructive spell of bowling made life hell for West indies batting lineup as he ended up taking first five-wicket haul in this format of cricket for him and also for his country.

DJ Bravo and Jarome Taylor fought hard to drag Windies to 115/10 creating record 66-runs 9th wicket partnership for the 9th wicket.

Bravo was the last man to depart for West Indies, he scored a brilliant, well-fought 55 off 54 balls.

Muhammad Nawaz bowled intelligently for his 1 for 16 in 4 overs. Sohail Tanvir took 2 for 26 in 3.5 overs, bowling a 3-run last over with 2 wickets.

Pakistan when come to bat, will require 116 runs to win this game.
