LAHORE: Coke Studio sensation Momina Mustehsan’s new track in Coke Studio’s fifth episode has been released and this is making rounds on social media.
The song Main Raasta, produced by Noori is co-performed by Momina and Junaid Khan under the direction of Strings.
The song has given new life to dying Pop-Rock music in Pakistan; however, it is being wrongly criticized for the copied tone from “hum hen raasta hum hen zindagi” from Indian song “Zindagi” by Jubin Nautiyal, from the movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Though, there is minor resemblance, but the two songs have different compositions and different genre of musics.
Due to this controversy, the song has been equally loved and criticized on social media at the same time.
Despite everything, the track has been watched 48,000 times on Coke Studio’s Official Faecbook page within six hours of its release. That means 140 viewers are watching the son every single minute.
