DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) declared Friday afternoon that Pakistan Test captain Misbah ul Haq will be presented with Test mace on September 21 in Lahore.
Test mace is presented to the captain of Number 1 Test team in the world, and this would be first time in history when a Pakistan captain will receive this award.

The ceremony will be held in Lahore on September 21, where ICC Chief Executive David Richardson will make presentation at 10:30 am (PST). The presentation of the mace will be followed by a news conference at 11 am.
Pakistan earned the Test Number 1 throne after a memorable 2-2 series level with England in England last month.
Pakistan currently are on the top of MR Tyres ICC Test Rankings 111 points, just one more than India who are second in the rankings.
