Though, England are a stronger and more experienced side than that of Pakistan on paper, but, there is a feel that this Pakistan squad has the spark to do some damage England would not be expecting at all.
The feel comes from their new captain Sarfraz Ahmed. This guy has the ability to wonders single handedly.
He did it back in 2005-06 during U19 World Cup final, when he defended a measly total of 117 runs (in 50 overs game) against arch-rival India to lift the World Cup.
He has also shown his talent in captaincy during first edition of PSL when he lead underdogs Quetta Gladiators to the final of the League.
He has got likes of Imad Wasim, Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan who can make an impact on the game. And then there is some good news from the middle order, where there most experienced guy Shoaib Malik has found his lost form.
They have most deceptive T20 bowler Sohail Tanveer and skiddy pace of Hasan Ali.
On first sight, it can be said that Pakistan might be underdogs in the game, but they have the ability to steal the game anytime from any opposition.
It would be interesting to see how England play their cards in today’s game.
