Good news about Eid Al Adha moon in Pakistan

KARACHI: Reports from Met Department Pakistan suggest that there are fair chances of moon sighting in the coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

According to the report, there are high chances of moon sighting in the areas of Jivani, Khuzdar, Turbat and Dalbadeen.

The central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is meeting in Karachi under Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman today.

Members of various district committees would meet at their respective offices for sighting the Eid crescent.

The decision will later be announced by committee chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Zil-Hajjah crescent was not sighted in Saudi Arabia, therefore, Eid will be on September 12 (Monday) this year.
