Breaking: Final results from Vehari PP-232 by-election

VEHARI: In a close contest between arch-rivals in Pakistan politics in Vehari’s PP-232, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI), the ruling party has taken another seat away from the former.

According to latest reports from Vehari’s by-election for provincial assembly seat, PP-232, PMLN’s Yousuf Kaselia has win this seat with 51,323 votes over PTI’s Ayesha Nazir Jutt with 50,267 votes.

It is pertinent to mention here that these are unconfirmed and unofficial results of 157 polling stations.

On the other hand, PMLN is also leading National Assembly seat from Jhelum. PMLN’s Raja Matloob Mehdi (son of the late PMLN MNA Iqbal Mehdi) leads with 76,827 votes and PTI’s Fawad Chaudhry trails with 67,693 votes at second number
