LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced complete schedule for the series against West Indies beginning in September at United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The series will be played from September 23 to November 3.
Arriving next month in UAE, the West Indian team would play three Twenty20 internationals, three one-day and and as many Tests during one and a half month long tour.
The highlight of the series would be the day-night Test in Dubai in October.
PCB thought of the idea of a day-night Test after they agreed to play one in Australia.
But, West Indies were reluctant to indulge themselves in a pink ball Test until Pakistan board assured them of allowing to practice under lights with pink ball.
PCB, in a statement announced that “We will host its first ever day-night Test match from October 13-17 to be played with the pink ball under lights at the Dubai cricket stadium.”
The board had also offered to host the Twenty20s in Pakistan, but the West Indies declined the offer due to security fears.
