NAB arrests Karachi board Chairman Anwar Ahmed Zai

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team has arrested Chairman of Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK), Anwar Ahmed Zai on Thursday over charges of corruption and misuse of authority.

According to sources, Anwar Ahmed Zai would be interrogated over alleged manipulation of examination results, illegal appointments in the board and corruption, Samaa reported.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the past NAB also arrested several officers of matric board, who were allegedly involved in manipulating examination results in exchange of hefty money.
