OSLO: Pakistan Test captain Misbah ul Haq smashed a century on just 34 balls in an exhibition match in Oslo, Norway against former teammates.
Captain Misbah is currently on a short break after leading the national side to a remarkable 2-2 series draw against England on their home soil recently.
While playing game at the Bislett Stadium in Oslo, the 42-year-old hit 12 huge sixes to complete an exceptional hundred in the exhibition match which was a part of the ‘Play for Peace’ festival.
Misbah’s memorable knock also included three huge sixes off former pacer Mohammad Asif, who was banned for spot-fixing scandal during Pakistan’s 2010 tour of England, and a streak of five consecutive maximums off the bowling of a local player.
Asif’s side also featured the likes of Abdul Razzaq and Mohammad Yousuf, but they were powerless to stop a rampant Misbah on the matting wicket.
