KARACHI: Paramilitary Force in Karachi has arrested Senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar and Khuwaja Izhar ul Hasan from Karachi Pres Club building.
According to initial details, both MQM leaders reached Press Club to clarify the situation after the recent attack on media houses from MQM workers.
But, Rangers were on alert and reached the spot just in time and forced Farooq Sattar and Khuwaja Izhar to sit in Rangers mobile.
Dr Farooq Sattar insisted on presenting his stance before the media but he was whisked away by Rangers.
“I am also a Pakistani. I shall present my stance,” Dr Sattar told the Rangers.
He, however, wasn’t allowed to speak to the media.
As per media reports, MQM leaders have been shifted to Rangers Head Quarters under heavy security.
