DUBLIN: Pakistan carried its Test form in to ODIs against Ireland as the Green Shirt out played hosts in all the departments in 1st ODI at Malahide, Dublin.
It was Pakistan’s day by all means as first Pakistan showed its class in the batting and then demolished Irish batting lineup with the ball.
Where Sharjeel stole the show with the bat in the first part of the game, it was left-arm spinner Imad Wasim who did the rest f the damage with the ball.
Sharjeel’s classy innings was studded with nine maximums and 16 fine boundaries. He smashed 152 runs in just 86 balls, making this third quickest 150 in ODI history.
But, Imad Wasim was no lesser, he bagged 5 wickets for 14 runs, his first five-for and best bowling figures so far.
The second pick in Pakistan bowling line was Umar Gul, who took three wickets for 23 runs.
Mohammad Amir was quite economical with 7 for 1 in 4 overs.
No bowler could complete its spells as Ireland were all out in just 24th over of the innings, almost half of the overs were remaining.
