DUBLIN: Pakistan’s left-arm opening batsman Sharjeel Khan has made the phenomenal comeback in the national side with a sizzling hundred against Ireland in the first ODI at The Village, Malahide, Dublin.

Khan completed his century in 62 balls.

Sharjeel, who made his debut against Sri Lanka in November 2014, scored fifty in his debut ODI match, but failed to continue the form and was dropped.

Hyderabad-born Sharjeel, before this game, played 11 ODIs and scored 194 runs with the average of just 17.63 runs per match. His poor run ended when he was picked up by Pakistan Super League franchise, where he scored first T20 hundred of PSL against Lahore Qalandars.
