Hafeez bowling test woes continue

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar khan expressed right-arm offspinner that Mohammad Hafeez did not appear for an official bowling test, despite that team needs him as an all-rounder.

However, the team management does not seem too committed in getting Hafeez back after he was asked to carry drinks at The Oval Test instead of undergoing remedial work on his action.

There were five other players who could have carried drinks but Hafeez was asked to ‘help out his teammates’ while the PCB hired remedial coach Carl Crowe for just two days.

The 35-year-old felt two days were not enough for him to appear for an official bowling test and he has opted to appear only when he is ready.
