Amber Heard, Johnny Depp settle divorce case

LOS ANGELES: Renowned Hollywood actress Amber Heard has withdrawn allegation of physical abuse against her husband Johnny Depp, and the report suggests there is an out-of-court settlement to end their 18-months marriage.

Leading entertainment website TMZ was first to report the news. According to TMZ report, Heard has filed court papers to dismiss the abuse case.

The report claims that rte pair´s lawyers and representatives were not immediately available for comment.

“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love,” they said in a statement to TMZ and Daily Mail Online.

“Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future.”

Heard says she would donate the settlement money to a charity.

The decision has come just a day before the pair was to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court for a hearing regarding the case.

The TMZ says Heard cannot re-file the case because she dismissed it with prejudice.

Amber Heard filed for divorce from Depp in May and subsequently obtained a restraining order that commanded Johhny Depp to keep distance his wife.

They pair got into wedlock in February last year.
